The ambiance was really good, we were actually doing a stopover from our salalah trip and the main reason for the stay was to rest and enjoy the pool which we did.

Decent Stay, value for money.

Neat and clean hotel rooms, good color themes in individual rooms. Pool was not clean.

Old property requires refurbishing the place overall.

Nice hotel, shaded pool

Very large and comfortable room. Location was also good though getting to/from the hotel requires navigating a one way system. Hot breakfast items changed every day. Omani coffee at breakfast.

The swimming pool is large but surrounded by the fairly high building of the hotel meaning that when we visited (early November) much of the patio was shaded throughout the day. It also meant that the pool water didn't heat up. The breakfast buffet was large but with fairly limited choice. There were a lot of bread products!

No frills but completely ok hotel

- nice room (we stayed in the new part) - Just to know: Nezwa castel / old town is 3 km away (need for taxi or to drive) - Just to know: Hotel is situated on a very big road, some rooms are going to this direction

Overall correct. Good for family with children.

The swimming pool is very nice. The restaurant for dinner is very good and not expensive. The balcony of the room is good.

The breakfast is not good. Not much choice.

Good location friendly staff

Easy access from the main road, only 4km from Nizwa Fort. Good wifi signal, room was clean and buffet dinner was good value. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There was dinning table and chairs in the room, that was very thoughtful, but needed some TLC.

Pls put warning marks on side of pool where depth is more that 4 feet. Also stencil depth of pool.

Size of rooms are good. Location of hotel is also very good. Quite relaxing atmosphere.

Cleaning Staff is little bit lazy. Swimming pool has no depth identification at any place.

Very nice hotel

Excellent breakfast, timed just right to get after a morning visit to Nizwah Souq to watch Friday goat trading (minutes on taxi or 4km walk among rural houses).

A gem!

Lovely hotel with all you could ask for the price. Staff were brilliant, down to driving us into the centre for dinner when no taxis were available! Restaurant food was excellent, best meal we ate in all of Oman but lacking a bit in atmosphere. Breakfast good but not great. Pool was great.

Went away smiling, no negatives. We couldn't understand middling reviews on lonely planet, they seem to host a lot of tour groups and those old fogies are hard to impress so maybe that's it! We specified a room in new wing of hotel.

Could be a much better experience with small improvements

The staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel needs some repair and maintenance, but nothing serious. What was actually annoying was waking up at 5:00AM with one of the employees vacuum cleaning the corridor and having to get up to complaint to him - just hope it isn't their normal schedule for that!

Wery easy to find and there was many parking spots.

Wery easy to find and there was many parking spots. The room was nice, spacious, clean and with free thea/instant coffe. The staff waswery helpfull and spoke well english.

The pool area was nice, but the pool was placed in shade, so in february it was cold :-)

Dated hotel near main road

The staff were very friendly and helpful!

The shower was clogged and the water didn’t drain. Very dated property/rooms and expensive for what you get. Buffet breakfast not that great. Overall it felt like a dated motel being close to the main road.
